Maps

Exodus 13:19 Moses took the bones of Joseph with him because Joseph had made the sons of Israel swear an oath.

13"Woe to you, Korazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes

As a kid i used to love the maps. I would be checking them out as the preacher did ...whatever he did on Sunday (his one day of work). So, as i was checking out today's reading....i thought it only fitting that I be the first ever, in our readings, to post a map of the region on our commentaries (didnt show up on blog....sorry)

Joseph's bones and Jesus Miracles.....both very significant. The bones as a symbol of future promise...and Jesus miracles as a sign of promise fulfilled. How could you not witness Jesus miracles first hand and not be moved to repent? I dont think it was ever said.....but do we find a correlation between Pharaoh and the Jews? Were the Jews hearts hardened, like Pharaohs heart?
