Joshua 6:1-2 Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in. Then the LORD said to Joshua, "See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men.
We all know the story…so its no surprise that walls came down….but imaging being Joshua or one of his men….and you roll up outside this fortress, they’re prepared for battle, on lock down…and the Lord says ‘see…..told ya so’….I’d be like, yeah but God…. You really haven’t delivered it to us……its just there. And they are ready to kill us. But God says….here is the plan……
You know what, having just marched across a flooded river on dry land….this doesn’t seem that far fetched. Tell you what God, I’m gonna do exactly what you say.
